VOCATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
The Vocational Baccalaureate qualification leads to a secondary vocational qualification.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TAKING THE VOCATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
The Vocational Baccalaureate is open to anyone who has:
- successfully completed the 4th year of a secondary vocational education programme,
- successfully completed the 2nd year of a vocational-technical education programme,
- completed the 4th year of grammar school and passed a vocational course, passed the master's examination.
APPLICATION AND EXAMINATION DEADLINES
Candidates apply for the Vocational Baccalaureate at the school or adult education organisation where they were enrolled during their education or where they completed their final year of study by the deadline set in the Vocational Baccalaureate calendar. Candidates with disabilities must enclose with their application a completed form entitled 'Exercising the rights of a candidate with disabilities in taking the Baccalaureate'.
The candidate shall register for the Vocational Baccalaureate at the school where he/she completed his/her final year.
The Baccalaureate is held in three terms each year, in spring, autumn and winter. Students can apply for any of the terms.
