Counselling room for psychological help Consultation for adolescents
A psychological counselling clinic for adolescents is available in Ljubljana, which offers professional help to young people in need of:
-changes in their lives,
-difficulties in interpersonal relationships,
-loss of a loved one, lack of motivation for school and activities in general,
-feelings of loneliness, hopelessness,
-feeling that life no longer has meaning,
-feeling misunderstood.
Young people from Ljubljana and other nearby places can book themselves or their parents by calling 031 704 707, every working day, from 8 am to 8 pm, or by e-mail info@posvet.org.
Young people do not need a referral or health card for the counselling, the service is free, and waiting times are short - up to three weeks.

Sometimes you are a young person in need and you think that no one can help you. If you feel the same way, you can find help in the following ways:
1. Try to talk about how you are feeling with your parents or an adult you trust, maybe someone at school.

3. Come to the initial interview (if you are over 16, you can come on your own).
4. Start psychotherapy.

Crisis Centre for Youth Ljubljana
The Youth Crisis Centre (YCC) is for children and adolescents up to the age of 18 who find themselves in a crisis situation or distress that they cannot resolve in their home environment ( unbearable situation at home, violence, abuse, resistance to parents, emotional distress, problems with school, etc.) and can find shelter and professional help here. The Youth Crisis Centre Ljubljana provides crisis accommodation and assistance to victims of violence (24 hours a day, all year round) as a form of help for children and adolescents who need immediate removal from their environment.
The YCC Ljubljana also has a free blue line Peter Klepec (080 1552), which can be called by children and adolescents experiencing violence.
